The Immigration Advocacy Project provides a range of representation to victims of domestic violence, violent crime and human trafficking. The unit also provides representation to individuals in need of humanitarian aid such as asylum seekers and unaccompanied minor children. We help battered immigrants self-petition the government to remain lawfully in the United States and obtain lawful immigration status.

The immigration law clerk will be responsible for preparing forms, research & drafting motions, petitions, employment authorization requests and reviewing documents, declarations and analyzing supporting documents. There may be opportunities to assist with outreach, court hearings and office intakes. Spanish fluency is a plus. The time commitment is a minimum of 15 hours per week under public interest grants if applicable, or at the pay rate of $18.00 per hour. Please note that this is an in person position.
