Free Classes
Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada and community partners provide free legal information to Nevada citizens through the Christine Smith Community Service Program.
Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada and Nevada Legal Services attorneys supervise UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law students who present informational classes about Small Claims, Bankruptcy, Eviction Sealing, Guardianship, Divorce/Paternity/Custody (in English and Spanish), Litigation & Trial Preparation (in English and Spanish), Family Law Forms (in Spanish), and Criminal Record Sealing. The classes are to help self-represented litigants understand how to present their cases and represent themselves in court.
All classes are offered in-person at Legal Aid Center or online through either Zoom or Google Meet. For some of the classes, both in-person and online options are available. If you need special accommodations to attend one of these classes, please call us at 702-386-1070 at least 48 hours in advance.
