About the Early Hire Pipeline to Justice Program

The Early Hire Pipeline to Justice Program is a hiring program established by Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada where we hire students in their final year of law school and judicial clerks interested in working at Legal Aid Center following graduation or a judicial clerkship.

The ideal candidate is someone interested in public interest law, has a demonstrated commitment to protecting the rights of others, and who will zealously advocate for the clients of Legal Aid Center, righting wrongs and changing lives.

The program begins recruiting in September of each year for 3L/4L law students and judicial clerks to begin working at Legal Aid Center in July or August of the following year. Graduating law students will receive four weeks paid time off to study and take the Nevada bar exam with the bar exam fee paid by Legal Aid Center.

Judicial clerks already licensed to practice can start in August at the conclusion of their clerkships.

Mission Of Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada

The mission of Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada is the preservation of access to justice and the provision of quality legal counsel, advice, and representation for individuals who are unable to protect their rights because they cannot afford an attorney.
