Our law students work closely with attorneys and clients – they prepare pleadings and research memos, interview clients and present cases at a weekly case review meeting, attend hearings if schedules permit, learn how to evaluate cases, and get hands-on experience helping adults and children enforce their legal rights. The time commitment is a minimum of 15 hours per week under public interest grants, if applicable, or at the pay rate of $18.00 per hour. Note these are in-person positions.
