Legal Aid Center Receives Nevada Women's Philanthropy Grant
The Nevada Women’s Philanthropy, a local organization dedicated to addressing the needs of the greater Las Vegas community, has announced that Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada is the recipient of its 2009 grant.

Kate Lowenhar-Fisher wins Bank of America Local Hero Award
On October 20, 2009, Kate Lowenhar-Fisher, a partner with the law firm of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, accepted a Local Hero Award from Bank of America for her pro bono work with Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada. In accepting her award, Kate directed a $5,000 donation from Bank of America Charitable Foundation to Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada
